Member group agreement

MEMBER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT: Participation in our website based member groups is optional. Those who participate must agree to the following:

• You agree that you will not give medical advice to other group participants. You may share your personal experiences and what has worked for you. EXCEPTION: Medical professionals may choose to give advice or medical information that is within the scope of practice allowed by their medical license.
• You may NOT solicit other attendees for personal gain.
• You may not record or take screenshots of any content available in the members only section of our website for use in any other public settings including sharing to social media.
• You will not share confidential information from other group participants.
• Anyone in violation of any of our group membership rules or guidelines will forfeit their rights to members only access of our website. No refunds will be given.

Legal Notification

• AIU may provide links to outside sources and groups as a way to help provide more resources and education. AIU is not responsible for the content of other publications or websites reached from our links.
• All branded presentations, educational materials, and any other resources available throughout our website and the members only section of our website are the protected intellectual property of their respective authors, owners, or the Adrenal Insufficiency United organization. Unauthorized reproductions, distribution, modification, creation of derivative works, or any other use of these materials without prior written consent from the owner is strictly prohibited and may constitute a violation of copyright law.

ADRENAL INSUFFICIENCY UNITED has the right to deny membership access and group participation to anyone for any reason. If your membership is denied you will receive a refund.

Any member banned from an AIU Facebook group will not be granted access to the members only section of our website.
