Support for Those Living with Adrenal Insufficiency

Conference 2022

Join us March 22 – 26 in Portland Oregon.

We’ll be at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Airport

We really missed seeing everyone in 2020 when COVID-19 made a face to face conference impossible. The good news is we were able to save up more money and will be able to offer more travel stipends then we have in the past.

Join our Conference Group on FB to keep up to date with our plans.

Plans for the conference include:

  • Workshops: focused learning in smaller groups
  • Sessions: large group presentations
  • On site and possibly off site activities for children and teens
  • Providing continuing education credits for health care providers and teachers.
  • Time for learning, fun, and relaxation
  • Sponsor tables and presentations

Safety will still be our priority and will adjust and make arrangements should that become necessary. However, we are hopeful that by this time next year the conference will be able to take place with minimal adjustments. To those with concerns about Portland: any unrest has been confined to a small area around the Federal Courthouse in downtown Portland, at least a 45 minute drive from our venue.
A SPECIAL NOTE:
Wendy J Lau was a fierce advocate and friend to many with AI and her passing was felt deeply within our community. AIU was touched to hear of Wendy’s request that her family support our community through donations to AIU.
To honor Wendy and her legacy we wanted to use the funds in a way that would help as many in our community as possible. We are happy to announce that conference sessions in 2022 will be Live-Streamed free of charge. Sessions will also be recorded and free to watch for anyone who misses the live stream.
We also plan to honor and remember Wendy at the conference: If you would like to help with this special project please reach out.
